Choosing Vision Words for your Homeschooled Kids

I choose a vision word for each of my homeschooled kids.

Each word represents what I want for them to embody.

I write these words at the top of my journal as a daily reminder.

Everyone gets a word. It’s a word I choose to pray for them. (But not a word I let them know about). It is the word I think they most need to grow into.

This particular year, I used these words:

  • gentle,
  • validate,
  • connect,
  • (keep) cool.

These words may change throughout the year.

I have my own words for myself too.

Feminine, focused, fearless.

It’s not that choosing a single word will change your fate. But when you spend enough time thinking on it, you will inevitably move toward it.
