Why I Made This
I’ve been a homeschool mama for two decades. During far too many of those years, I gave everything to everyone else and called what was left of me “enough.”
But it wasn’t the curriculum that overwhelmed me — it was everything I’d stopped giving myself. So I started doing the hard, quiet work of setting homeschool mom boundaries: learning who I was, what I needed, and how to ask for it. That’s when my homeschool actually started to feel like a life I wanted to be living.
I built this homeschool mom self-care checklist from that journey.
I know what it feels like to love your children deeply and still wonder if you’re disappearing. You are not alone in this, and you don’t have to figure it out alone either.
What Other Homeschool Moms Have Said
“Teresa really held space to help me explore that. She listens deeply and asks the most poignant, reflective questions. It’s been integral to unearth these insights and remember them when I am in the middle of a boundary crisis.” — Homeschool Mama of 3
“I now have infinitely better boundaries with our teenage daughter and I no longer feel like our relationship hangs by a thin thread. I feel much more motivated in my homeschool days and have made some major shifts that restored the joy.” — Homeschool Mama of 4
“Teresa has been of tremendous value towards my growth in homeschooling and self-care. She is encouraging and supportive of all that I long to pursue.” — Homeschool Mama of 2
You Have Been Last Long Enough.
This checklist won’t fix everything. But it will remind you, every single day, that you are allowed to matter. And sometimes that reminder is the whole thing.
