My journey with my homeschool mom podcast
My homeschool mom podcast journey began in my walk-in closet, February 2020, one month before the pandemic (cozy timing, no?) However, the seeds were planted much earlier. In 2018, writing my Homeschool Mama Self-Care: Nurturing the Nurturer book in my fruit orchard with my chickens pecking at my red toenails, I realized I loved helping women find clarity. This led to coaching offerings to help women overcome the challenges they were experiencing with their kids, their partners, and their relationship to education itself.
Initially, my podcast was about connecting with homeschool leaders and those who served in the homeschool community. Yet, I quickly discovered it was about something deeper: understanding the diverse journeys of homeschool moms. Indeed, conversations revealed their struggles, joys, and unique perspectives on education. It also revealed the common denominators of their homeschool mom realities.
My story of child-inspired learning come true
Reflecting on this, my story of child-inspired learning had come full circle. Learning the tech for my online coaching business and my homeschool mom podcast was challenging, but rewarding. Ultimately, it was a full-circle moment, as Iโd always dreamed of having a โradio showโ since childhood (once upon a time, I recorded my favourite Mini-Pop songs from the radio and even commercial segments into my cassette recorder).
Now, fast forward five years, nearly 300 episodes later, my homeschool mom podcast focuses on helping moms shed whatโs not working and live authentically, confidently, and purposefully in their homeschool and mom lives. As a result, I coach from experience, having walked this path myself. And truly, I recognize the beautiful privilege it is to connect with women worldwide, supporting them in their homeschool journeys.
Finding Clarity and Confidence in Your Homeschool Mom Journey
Given all of this, you started homeschooling for a reason, but now you might feel overwhelmed. Therefore, as a homeschool life coach, I help you gain confidence, set realistic expectations, and create a homeschool that works for your unique family.

Transform your homeschool experience: whatโs possible?
Imagine ifโฆ
- You felt energized (most days!) and excited to homeschool again.
- You had clarity on who you are, what you need, and how to set healthy boundaries.
- And your relationships felt stronger, and you had a plan for handling challenges.
- You finally felt good enough as a homeschool mom.
- You had practical strategies to manage the mess, the noise, and the responsibilities.
- Also, you responded with intention instead of reacting to stress and triggers.
- You felt supported, confident, and proud of your personal growth.
- You made time for things that light you upโnot just homeschooling, but YOU.
This isnโt just a dreamโitโs possible. And I can help you get there.

A Safe Space for Transformation
โI canโt remember the last time I felt this safe to talk to someone and share difficult, vulnerable things from my heart and past, while knowing that I would get compassionate validation and wise advice. To have someone I deeply respect and admire listen to me, laugh with me, cry with me, get curious with me and help me see things from a different perspective means so much more than I could ever put into words.โ

From Lost to Clear Direction
โI was feeling a bit lost with my personal goals. Through coaching, I was able to determine what was clouding my own vision and keeping me stuck. I discovered that unclear boundaries in my relationships were a big obstacle. I felt responsible for everybodyโs emotions. Through coaching and writing, I was able to shed harmful patterns and habits, and really center the people and things that truly matter to me. Now Iโm pouring time into personal projects that bring me joy and fulfillment.โ
